Ronald Winston:

First of all, a word of thanks for a superb job in building our new home. Over my busines and professional career I have created many houses and stores and I must candidly say, I have never had such a harmonious relationship. Young Construction delivered a beautiful home with extraordinary precision. During our time working together we never had a single dispute. I can't recommend you and your company enough. Thank you again for building our house.

Tom Parker - Hutton Parker Foundation:

When the Hutton Parker Foundation purchased a very visible office building on State street and decided to make it an arts center we knew that the contractor that we would select would have to understand not just quality construction, but also how to work with the tenants moving into the building. We decided on Young Construction and it ended up being a wonderful partnership. We were pleased and the tenants were all happy. I feel confident recommending them to anyone needing construction done.

Rebecca Kapustay and David Ludwig:

Building a contemporary home requires an exceptional contractor. A lot of builders will not accept the challange of building a home where simple, clean lines offer no opportunity to mask construction errors with moldings or baseboards.

Not only were we pleased with the home Young Construction built for us but, the builder and architect communities recognized their excellence with the 2010 Gold Nugget Grand Award for Best Custom Home over 7,500 sq. ft.

Lee Luria:

Bob! How often do you hear a client say they still love their contractor after the job is finished? I can say that because Young Construction IS the best team, oriented toward quality and attention to detail, on time and on budget! And the caring goes on, long after move in time! It has been a rewarding experience.
Ron & Pat Caird:
Young construction did a great job of on site management and cost control—with a lot of on site issues butterflies, archeology and bluff stairs—I want to thank you from all of us on Moreranch Road.
DR & Jane Westerman:
We have worked with Young Construction for 17 years including both new construction and maintenance of a 6000 sq ft contemporary home and more recently on smaller home in downtown Santa Barbara. Bob and Dave have consistently demonstrated unsurpassed attention to detail, responsiveness, honest budgeting, precise scheduling and a personal interest in their client’s project. The Young Construction staff and their subcontractors are exemplary, and we always recommended them without hesitation.

Tod & Sue Black:

When you evaluate contractors you can ask a million questions but the only one that TRULY matters is : Would you use them again? We certainly would!

Fred Brown:

Re-Building historic adobe structures in the Pueblo Veijo district downtown Santa Barbara is a very challenging endeavor. The solution to those challenges was having Young Construction as our contractor.

Young Construction has the respect and relationships with the Historic Landmarks Committee and the City of Santa Barbara Building Department which made a very difficult process run smoothly. Having a job site in the downtown area where set backs are tight, parking is difficult and traffic can be a problem; Young Construction managed those issues with great ease. The results speak for themselves; these Historic Houses of Merit that Young Construction built have been featured in several publication boasting of the quality of workmanship and design.

Susan Venable:

Young Construction took charge of our 3500 sf. addition to our historic adobe seamlessly. The supervision, attention to detail, and cooperation with homeowners that wanted to be involved in every aspect was so much appreciated. The proof of success, in addition to a beautifully built home, is that we have remained good friends and admirers of their continually exceptional work.

David Brents, COO Chumash Band of Mission Indians:

Young Construction recently provided general contractor services for the remodel / rebirth of the old Royal Scandinavian Inn and Meadows restraurant into the new Hotel Corque and Root 246. They helped us to bring the project in on time and on budget in spite of the inherent challenges with a 25-year old property. I wish we had brought them in earlier in the planning process—Thanks for an outstanding project!

Larry Leveille and Patty Gary

Very, very pleased w/their patience, ideas, opinions, hands-on management, willingness to make changes and to take time to explain mysterious construction issues, as well as their choice of subcontractors. Dave Young has a nice aesthetic sense and steered us to “tasteful” yet economical choices as well as to where/when to invest more extravagantly. They’ve worked locally for a long time and seem to “know where to go” for suppliers as well as subcontractors. Subs seemed to respect him as well. Good grasp of various building codes and seem to have a good rapport w/inspectors etc. Additionally, the people in the office on the business side, Bob, Annie, and Madeline were always helpful and easy to deal with. In summation, Young Construction pleasantly and professionally built us a fine house on time and on budget
